Title: Innovative privacy preservation and authentication mechanisms

 Abstract

In this talk, we are going to cover novel privacy preservation and authentication mechanisms. In the first part,  our novel Secure Node End-2-End Encryption (SNE2EE) framework will be presented. SNE2EE offers both a software and hardware solution by extending encryption technologies and techniques to the end nodes to increase privacy. The SNE2EE mechanism can address the issues concerning spyware and stalkerware at both the individual and community levels.

In the second part, our novel two-factor honeytoken authentication (2FHA) mechanism will be demonstrated. The proposed solution aims at enhancing the authentication mechanism, preventing penetrations, password thefts, and attempted break-ins towards securing computing systems. The 2FHA mechanism approach is two-folded; it implements a two-factor authentication scheme to prevent unauthorized access, accompanied by Honeyword principles to detect corrupted or stolen tokens. Both can be integrated into any platform or web application with the use of QR codes and a mobile phone.
